1. Platform Role

SeaLex operates as a digital platform that provides access to tools, information, and the ability to connect with Independent Maritime Lawyers. SeaLex does not operate as a law firm, does not provide legal services, and does not act as a substitute for professional legal advice.

2. No Attorney – Client Relationship 

The use of the Platform, including access to content, tools, or communication features, does not create an attorney–client relationship between the User and SeaLex. Any attorney–client relationship, if established, exists solely between the User and the Independent Maritime Lawyer engaged by the User.

3. Independent Maritime Lawyers

Legal services made available through the Platform are provided independently by Independent Maritime Lawyers who are not employees, agents, or representatives of SeaLex. SeaLex does not supervise, direct, or control the manner in which such legal services are provided.

Any engagement for legal services, including the scope of services, fees, refunds, and professional responsibilities, is entered into directly between the User and the relevant Independent Maritime Lawyer, in accordance with the terms agreed between them.

4. No Guarantee of Outcomes

SeaLex does not make any representations or warranties regarding the outcome, success, accuracy, or suitability of any legal service, legal information, or content accessed through the Platform. Legal outcomes depend on individual circumstances, applicable law, and professional judgment, and may vary from case to case.

5. Informational Content

Any legal information, templates, tools, or general materials made available through the Platform are provided for general informational purposes only and are not intended to constitute legal advice. Users should seek professional legal advice from a qualified lawyer before taking or refraining from any action based on information obtained through the Platform.

SeaLex is not a party to any legal services engagement between a User and an Independent Maritime Lawyer and does not assume responsibility for the performance, quality, or conduct of such services.
